DANIEL J. FIFE: Partner
(Osgoode Hall, 1988. Called to the Bar, 1990.)

Dan’s resume speaks for itself. He has been recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a certified Specialist in Civil Litigation; he is experienced with both jury and non-jury trials for both Plaintiff and Defence cases; he has had several appearances before the Ontario Court of Appeal and has brought proceedings to the Supreme Court of Canada; he is a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court; he spends time teaching at Wilfrid Laurier University; and also assists other lawyers with career advancement and provides mentoring programs.

But it’s not all about that. Dan spent the first half of his career defending insurance claims as partner of a larger law firm. With the knowledge he gained and the experience he had, Dan decided it was time to make a change. In 2004 Dan opened his own law firm which is focused on cases that make a difference. Whether from a Defence perspective for key corporate clients or individual Plaintiffs who have suffered from personal injury or medical malpractice, Dan leverages his expertise to ensure each case is handled optimally.

Outside of work, you can find Dan spending time with his family, playing sports or cheering on the Michigan Wolverines.

MAPLE ANNE CAMERON: Partner
(Western University, 2005. Called to the Bar, 2006.)

Maple’s personal and professional experiences working on the front-line and behind the scenes are all contributing factors to her reputation as a key stakeholder and an integral part of Fife Cameron. She has appeared in court on multiple occasions. She is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, The Advocates’ Society and the Waterloo Law Association. She also sat on the Chamber Young Professionals Board of Directors for the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and is a third generation alumnus of Wilfrid Laurier University.

Joining forces with Dan in 2008, Maple has brought her expertise to the table, as well as her own unique perspective for what each client may be going through. Maple is more than a lawyer; she wants to spend the time to really understand each client individually so that she can provide the best possible advice and help them navigate the legal system successfully.

Aside from work, you might just find Maple at local events and festivals, cheering on the Warhawks football team or visiting Austin and Pansy, the two donkeys she sponsors at The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada. For the past few years she has also sat as Vice President – Legal, on the executive committee for a local political riding association
